Storyline

Josh brings young Tom Adams wanted for robbery in to Sheriff Hal Mortensen for the $200 reward plus his $28 in expenses. However, Mortensen tells Tom he is free to go and Josh that Zack Dawson is now wanted for the robbery. He had sent out telegrams and new posters five days earlier but Josh never saw them. They found $500 from the robbery hidden on Dawson's place plus he had bragged about it. The broke Josh is exasperated but it does him no good. The sheriff suggests he go after Dawson instead. Tom heads home where his father Doc Adams tells him he paid Dawson $1000 to say he committed the robbery and the $500 found at his place. It has nearly bankrupted the Dr. Upon hearing the news, Tom asks for his gun and heads out. The reluctant Josh has no choice so he heads for Dawson's broken down farm to talk to his wife Nora who denies knowing where Zack is or that he is guilty. While resting at a camp, Josh hears a noise which turns out to be Tom Adams who offers Josh $100 to let him go ... Written by Anonymous

The Plot Revelaed Early
10 September 2010 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

This starts off very intriguing but kind of peters out fast and never regains speed until the last few minutes. The beginning tells most of the story, as Josh brings in a wanted man only to be told he has the wrong guy! Huh? That's never happened before. Well, minutes later, we find out the man Randall brought in, "Tom Adams," really is the right guy but his father set up another man to take the fall, to save his kid. How exactly he does that, and what happens with Josh (who is not happy over this), you'll have to watch as I won't spoil things.

It does get a little suspenseful at the end, if you're like me and want to see justice prevail. There is an unexpected ending, is all I'll say.

The acting is fine in here, as always, but the only familiar face was that of Vaughn Taylor, who plays Adams' father, "Doc." Although Taylor played in a lot of TV shows involving all genres, he probably got most recognition as the guy in the beginning of "Psycho" who plays Janet Leigh's boss.
