I just read the other review from brueggemanntami and totally agree about how a reputable educator like that visiting Mr. Gordon would never dismiss a student as inferior and not wanting to waste their time. That wasn't something that would have happened so that aspect of the story was wrong. It was never Miss Hunter's way. I also agree that Elizabeth should never be allowed to sit up next to her mother. She was way too old.
I clicked on the thumbs up before I read her opinion of Marcia. I don't agree about Marcia Woolery. I thought she was cute and very attractive. She may be very flirtatious and a bit conniving but John Boy surely liked her. That fiancé she chose couldn't have been more obnoxious if he tried. I laugh every time I hear John Boy say 'She's not marrying that.'
I don't think it was wise for her to accept an invitation for dinner from that manager. She would be at his mercy if she wanted the job. John Boy inadvertently took her away from one rogue and put her into another bad situation. Poor Marcia.
