Great epidose of Walker, ruined by silliness involving Trivette.

Warning: Spoilers
This could have been a great episode of WTR. It could have rated 8, 9, possibly even 10 stars. An outstanding opening crime scene with crooks robbing an art gallery, and the medieval theater with knights jousting each other, and Lipazzener Stallions doing dressage.

But the writers had to throw in an absolutely foolish distraction. We get "Ranger Trivette" escorting some handcuffed bozo back to Dallas for testimony. The road trip involves slapstick stupidity, food poisoning, a cheap motel room, and a wasp attack (very poor special effects). This whole saga is completely unnecessary; it takes away from the main story line and breaks the suspense.

If they could edit out the Trivette scenes, this would be one of the better episodes of Walker.

Still, it's a great story, lots of action, with Chuck Norris riding in on a white horse to save the day. I rate "Medieval Crimes" 7 stars.
