The idiot Baines has decided that he must marry Jane. After all, he finally realizes he kind of likes her AND being married might help him get into a local country club which rejected him. However, his proposal to Jane is awful...and there's no mention of love or anything that smacks of even admiration! Not surprisingly, the less desperate Jane rejects Harvey.
At the same time, Diana has an infected foot that won't heal properly. However, instead of going to a doctor, she assumes she's going to die and just wants to sit back and await oblivion! However, it's NOT as bad as all that...and it's a natural part of aging for many...which makes Diana furious!
I like how the series made Jane less desperate and more independent. And, this is a fun episode and is well worth seeing.
