Goofs

Admiral Nelson shows that the alien impersonating Garrity is a fraud by stating that he went missing in action 23 years ago in WW II. The error is that while this interval would have been correct from the time the show was filmed in the mid 1960s, it would have been way off for the time-frame the show is set in, sometime in the mid 1970s. This Episode: Nine Out Of Ten
1 August 2010 | by See all my reviews

This hour starts with miniature spaceships landing on earth, then it is a mysterious friend of Nelson appearing out of nowhere and then it is an underwater base filled with Lost In Space hardware/aliens. This is a loaded alien invasion hour full of imagination!

The talented Warren Stevens appeared in Voyage season one but he was given a dull script that put the viewer to sleep, thankfully he returned for another outing - Deadly Invasion - that gave him great moments with Richard Basehart. I like everything about this hour and having them all leave the Seaview and go to this Lost In Space-ish underwater base makes it even more special.

If I had to single out something I disliked, I would have to say the music score is lacking the energy of other colour Voyage/Sea episodes, but all in all this is a knockout nine out of ten hour!
