Lively season five closer tingles with sexual tension, never a common commodity in TV westerns. Clu Gulager's Ryker can't help being attracted to the determined Claire Bingham, played by sunken-eyed beauty Sandra Smith, even though his lawman's instinct is to distrust her. It's interesting watching the proficient, self-possessed Ryker loosen his guard and slip up, as humans will do. Gulager wasn't getting many scripts this good at this point in his recurring role, which may be a reason why he wouldn't be playing it much longer. Andrew Prine succeeds in being unlikable as a nasty bad guy. NOTE: There is some sound distortion near the end of the show.

Long lost brother

A little romance is thrown Emmet Ryker's way in this Virginian story. Sandra
Smith who is a nurse gets off the stagecoach after a robbery and she's sure one
of the outlaws is her long lost little brother. When Andrew Prine is brought in
by Clu Gulagher and James Drury, Smith talks to Prine and she's convinced.
Love is nice but there's also a $5000.00 inheritance riding on the identity. There's also some love possibly for Clu Gulagher as he and Smith find a mutual attraction.
This was a good episode until spoiled by the ending.
