After receiving the third letter with his name on a list of people being killed, Trampas decides to learn who is after him. He meets a gunfighter who is on the list. Together they are trying to solve the mystery which involves his ex=wife.

Storyline

Trampas has received three letters listing the names of several people unknown to him plus his own name that are being killed. Each letter lists another person that has been killed. After showing Stacey the list, Stacey recognizes one of the names in the newspaper he read giving Trampas a clue as to where to start. He visits the widow of the retired stage driver who was the last one killed. While headed to the town the stage driver last visited, he meets Sam Evans who is on the list as well. After Caleb Adams tries to jump them, they leave him on foot as they go to a town where they find the lone woman Emily on the list who is married to Sheriff Chris Williams. Emotions erupt when they learn she was the wife of Sam before marrying the Sheriff. No one remembers any events that tie them together until they start putting all the facts together.
