A local businessman/rancher Mike McGoff learns Wismer and his partner Judson have found gold in Apache territory. While stealing a map to it McGoff kills Wismer as Dr. Beldon sleeps drunk on duty. Trampas takes the map from McGoff and both decide to go together after Judson. They are joined by Hudson's wife who is looking for him and later by Dr. Beldon who thinks he allowed Wismer to die.
