There is scene where Hugo finally stands up to his father David. This was filmed before a live studio audience and when Hugo actually stands up to his father the audience erupted into applause thus ruining the take.

Although not an obvious Christmas themed episode, this has the eating Christmas Decorations end scene joke - seemingly bolted on when they realised it was going out over Christmas.
