Storyline

Binzer goes to see Paula Conway a hypnotist for a little self improvement. But what he doesn't know is that she has been hired by some men to make him their killer. When Dan notices Binzer's been missing for sometime he goes looking for him. And it's while looking for him that he runs into Jaime Randall, an old friend, who's a reporter doing research on point shaving at college basketball games. It seems the men who hired Paula are the ones behind the point shaving and Binzer's being prepped to kill Jaime and a player whom they approached who turned them down. Written by rcs0411@yahoo.com

Great Binzer episode.
25 April 2013 | by (Australia) – See all my reviews

Filmed in 1979 and airing in 1980, this episode is a showcase for Bart Braverman. He gets to play tough-guy and also exercises his vocal talents on stage. Dick Sargent has a fine time and is totally believable as a ruthless 'mechanic'. Tige Andrews is on hand as the top bad guy and Mary Ann Mobley is perfectly cast as the villainous hypnotist. Greg Morris talented son Phil Morris makes an impressive appearance. It would have been a nice touch if he had shared a scene with his father. Actor/singer Gary Marshall(with two L's) appears as Dr. Middleton, not Penny Marshall's brother, Garry as erroneously listed in the IMDb credits.
