David gets carried away betting on a football game and ends up owing $400 to a bookie.
In a way, this is another "message" type episode about the dangers of gambling. It's okay but not a very funny one. Except for the part where Burt starts singing the chorus from Kenny Rogers' "The Gambler".
Sandy gives the best performance in this one. She bails David out by writing a check to the bookie. When David tries to justify his mistake, Sandy really lets him have it and shows she is just as capable of performing the serious scenes as Valerie Harper. Would rate it higher if the first act was stronger. 6/10.
