Valerie and the boys borrow Mrs. Poole's camper and head off to the great outdoors for a weekend.
This is a tired plot that every sitcom has done ad nauseum and this script is not one of the better examples.
David doesn't want to go because camping "reminds me of every Friday the 13th movie I ever saw". When they get to their destination, David watches GIDGET on a portable TV set. The jokes are lousy and there is not much else to recommend here.
The best part of the episode is Mrs. Poole's reaction after the Hogans return home and inform her of the damage that has been done to her beloved "Motel 6 on wheels". 5/10.
