Trivia

The third episode, "Breakout", was rejected for network broadcast due to its violence. It was eventually shown, however, when the series was rerun after its cancellation. A continuity error is created when the episode is watched in order with the rest of the series, however, as the fourth episode V: The Deception (1984) was reedited so that Ham Tyler and Kyle meet for the first time, even though they had already met in "Breakout". Goofs

Continuity error in the relationship between Ham, Kyle and Donovan. In this episode, Ham meets up with Kyle in the Prison Camp, where after a brief diversionary fight, Ham speaks to Kyle with "Bates? I used to work for a man called Nathan Bates", "Yes, he's my father" comes Kyle's reply. In V: The Deception, Ham meets up with Kyle again, this time at the Club Creo and act like they've never met. "Bates? I used to work for a man called Nathan Bates, ever heard of him?" with the reply "my father" after a few pleasantries. This was due to Breakout not being approved for network TV airings, so its plot points had to be reintroduced in Deception; see trivia. See more »
