Storyline

Eliot Ness and the Untouchables are out to convict political boss Brian O'Malley and have two witnesses who will testify that he ordered a murder. O'Malley is an old-time politico who never seeks office himself but controls almost every party official that does. Ness' witnesses are living in a hotel under constant police protection but that doesn't stop O'Malley who manages to use a corrupt cop to kill one of them, George Davas. Ness' only remaining option is to find Davas' girlfriend, Julie Duvall, who he learns was also a witness to O'Malley orders. Time is of the essence for the Feds as mobsters for O'Malley are also on hot on her trail. Written by garykmcd

The Boss

Robert Stack and his Untouchables go after political boss David Brian in this episode. The squad is babysitting a pair of witnesses, Jack Elam and Johnny Seven who are to testify against Brian in federal court.

But Seven while under police custody takes a dive out of his hotel window. With a little persuasion Elam tells Eliot Ness that Seven's girlfriend Fay Spain is also a good witness for his case. The trouble is that Brian is also looking for her as well.

And Brian has his main trigger man John Marley on the job. There is a real slam bang shootout with Stack, Paul Picerni, and Nicholas Georgiade and Marley and a few associates at a motel where Spain is hold up.

It's all fictional of course, but still a nice episode.
