Scott Turner, a sports agent with a client considering releasing him, leaves the street when his car breaks down, gets lost in the woods, and stumbles on a large house with a great view and devoid of electricity - even cell phones don't work. He meets Marisa Sanborn, who says she got there in the same way after an argument with her fiancé, and they find the house contains enough room and settings for two with clothing and everything else their size. Soon they're joined by Ricki, a woman whom the house doesn't supply for, can get her cell to work, hates the isolation and rurality, and seems awed and impressed but unhindered by the harmful creatures that mysteriously come around the place... ****MAJOR SPOILERS**** Stuck in traffic and late for an important meeting with a client, a basketball star, sports agent Scott Turner, Rob Estes, while going into the nearby woods to answer the call of nature soon finds himself lost from civilization and all the problems that go along with it. Scouting out the woods Scott finds this mansion on top of a hill with no modern convincers like running water & electricity but a woman real estate agent Marisa Sanborn, Elizabeth, Blakley, who's as much lost and confused as he is.

Trying to make heads or tails out of the situation that they find themselves in up pops Rikki, Nicki Aycox, who besides having some idea of what's going on also has a working cell-phone which Scott & Marisa don't. In fact as it soon turns out that the hippie like Rikki knows a lot more then what's she's telling them in her trying to keep both Scott & Marisa from freaking out in what their really into and up against.

It soon becomes obvious that Rikki is there to guide the two along on their journey into never-never land but both Scott & Marisa instead of taking a hint want to get a hold of her cell-phone and call home or their clients that turns out to be disastrous for both of them. With Rikki letting therm call home they break the spell and in the end were back from where they came from in the rat race of civilization that they, for a few moments, were free of!

This "New Twilight Zone" episode shows that when offered a good deal don't turn it down which is what both Scott, who made the phone call, and Marisa in fact did. Having a chance to live in complete freedom and away from it all they in fact chose to go back, without realizing it, to the world that they were so eager to get away from and in the end lost out on what would have been heaven for both of them.
