Mario can't quite figure out how it's done and wants the soon to retire Kellogg to let him in on it before, in having a weak heart, he checks out for good and takes the secret of the act along with him.

Getting invited to Kellogg's mansion Mario soon falls in love with Kellogg's secretary and personal squeeze Shannon who in knowing her lover Kellogg doesn't have long to live takes a shine to the handsome young man. It takes a while for Kellogg to let Mario in on the secret of the "Pharaoh's Curse" in getting him more and more interested in how it's done. Finally agreeing to show Mario how it's preformed Kellogg tells him that for the "Curse" be successful he-Mario-has to be part of it along with him which Mario eagerly accepts!
