Jensen, Tru's new boyfriend, is killed but doesn't ask Tru for help. Tru searches the county looking for a body to ask for help so that she can rewind and save Jensen from dying.

Storyline

Tru desperately wants her day to start again after her med school boy-friend Jensen Ritchie is killed by a stray bullet near the shop he went back to in order to buy her the medical bag he saw her admire, even if his corps doesn't ask her help and it takes five morgues to find one which does: convict Travis, who was shot after escaping from prison work detail. She sends Harry, who worried no adaptation of his appearance can make him look more like an attorney's office employee then a suspect, to prevent Travis's escape, but he gets kidnapped in Harry's car, actually to attend the wedding of a daughter who doesn't know him. Meanwhile Tru stays with Jensen all day, except during a short discussing with Davis if intervening with fate is acceptable, which Jack assures her spells cosmic disaster; then both story lines collide...

Back to the future meets The Fugitive.

Tru's latest boyfriend is murdered when he returns to a shop to buy a doctor's bag she admired through the window. Desperate to start the day again she sits for 4 hours beside the body waiting for him to ask "help me." When nothing happens our hero visits morgues within a 20 kilometer radius.

When an escaped convict who died in a road accident is brought to the morgue he asks for help and now Tru must save 2 people. Even if one of them did not ask for help.

Harrison comes to the rescue by trying to warn the guards overseeing the work detail of the impending escape. Unfortunately the convict escapes anyway and takes Harrison hostage.

Meanwhile Tru spends the day with Jensen while Jack tries to bring the two parties together and almost comes close to succeeding.

This is a good episode which sees a development between Dr. Carrie Allen and Davis. Unfortunately the series only has one more story before it is canceled. A pity because it had potential.
