Quotes

Luc Johnston: Well, maybe I overreacted, all right? Maybe I could learn to live with those things.
Tru Davies: No, you didn't. And you couldn't. Because as much as I'd like to, I'll never be able to change. That's who I am. That's who I'll always be. And because of that, I'll have to give up things, sometimes really great things. I'm sorry Luc.
Luc Johnston: Don't be.
Tru Davies: No. I'm sorry for me.

Back to the future meets Miss Congeniality.

All of Harrison's dreams come true when he is invited to be a guest judge at a beauty contest. Unfortunately he is using the event to pay off some gambling debts by trying to influence the outcome.

When one of the contestants turns up in the morgue Tru must go undercover to find out who would want to murder the young woman. When a jealous ex boyfriend becomes chief suspect we know straight away it isn't him. Is it one of the rivals? Or could it be another judge? I saw the ending long before it arrived.

This is not one of the better episodes and does little to enhance the story lines or the characters. I hope the writers don't fall into the habit of just recycling old Columbo episodes.

My opinion - pedestrian.
