***SPOILERS**** We get the straight dope from the chief,of the alcohol tobacco & firearms division, himself Walter Greaza in docket # 1139 about gun running that involves just released from prison after a 4 year stretch Bert Adams who again, after serving his time, fell in with the wrong crowd.

Bert just released from prison is given a job by his big brother Harry at his machine shop doing odds and ends at the place until he learned a skill. Before Bert can get himself adjusted to a free civilian life a person from his past hoodlum Eddie Sykes suddenly comes into his life. Eddie has hijacked a truck with 5 crates of handguns that he wants to sell to his criminal friends and wants Bert, at $25.00 a piece,to turn them into automatics as well as rid them of their serial numbers, At first the cash strapped Bert goes along with Eddie's plans until his big brother Harry get a whiff of it.

Caught between his brother Harry and hoodlum Eddie in either being a law abiding citizen or illegal gun smuggler it's the Feds, or Chief Greaza, men who end up making the decision for him. Raiding the machine shop Chief Greaza men quickly put the cuffs on both Bert & Eddie who were caught red handed in the act of their gun running operation. It was sad for Bert to be sent up the river, prison, for a second time just a month after he was released. But like he said as he was taken away if he didn't learn his lesson the first time around he'll have to start re-learning now.
