Trivia

When finally asked in 2010 what became of Dion, Hasbro stated that Dion and all the other Autobot dock coworkers were all slain in the Descepticon raid. This was to show the seriousness of the war with actual casualties. Ariel herself was intended as a casualty, but after somebody noticed the similarities between her and Elita-1, changes to the script were made. See more »

Goofs

After being repaired, Orion Pax/Optimus Prime was well aware that Alpha Trion was the one who re-built him, and asked him to do the same to his girlfriend Ariel/Elita One. Yet in The Transformers: The Search for Alpha Trion, Optimus Prime seems to have no idea of that. Though nine millions years passed since then, it is unlikely that Optimus Prime could have forgotten thing like that. See more »

Brilliant stuff

Hard to write this one without giving too much away, but most of the Transformers past and how the Decepticons rose to power is not really explained until this episode. A few revelations about key characters are made too. This is one cartoon which delivers stories by the bucketload! Any Transformers fans out there who haven't seen this will have to soon! Particularly with the movie on the horizon. The Autobots losing the war, Prime's background, and how the Decepticons are so feared are all in this one. Nice follow up to The Key To Vector Sigma. The Aerialbots uncertainty as to the war and the Decepticons make this interesting as I'm sure people ask, do any of either side have doubts as to weather they're on the right side!
