What about Jenny?

So the episode starts off with Millie and Jeff kissing and such. It's obvious they are having an affair. They just happen to be in Jeff's barn and Jenny walks in and discovers them. She basically declares she wants him dead. Later, Jenny comes to the sheriff's office moaning and groaning that the man she wished dead is now missing. Of course, I assumed she was involved, and so did Hoby. But then Norval admits to killing him and evidently after all the build up, Jenny is innocent. Is that right or did I totally miss something?

Hoby says a couple really sarcastic and memorable lines near the end of this. I just love his sarcasm!
