Doc Calhoun and Hoby deal with an outbreak of Typhoid fever in town.
I know there was a Gunsmoke episode that went this route - someone in town who carried the disease around with them. It all started when she delivered a baby - something simple and heroic that turned into something deadly. The worst part is that Annabelle knew she could give them the fever...
This was a good episode. Hoby has such a calm anger about him, that's what makes this so good! There were such great lines in this one two - from Doc's comment of "How good are you with a shovel" to the narrator's comments...
Typhoid fever was the topic of this episode.
