Quotes

Narrator: The trail had been a long one. For three months, Ranger Hoby Gillman had tracked Blane Sand through the wastelands of Eastern Texas. Six weeks before his capture, Sand had picked up his son, Jeremy. From then on, the two had ridden together. The man and boy were taken to El Paso where Sand was to stand trial for robbery and murder.

Sad but true

This is a good example of a child's unconditional love. The father has done wrong. He is arrested and put in jail, but no matter...his son will stand by him. Hoby takes this child around to all these people - people on both sides - all who report that the boy's father was indeed a very bad guy. Yet because of Jeremy's love for his father, he CANNOT believe his father did ANYTHING wrong!

And in the end, we learn that the man isn't all bad. In fact, he may have died with a little bit of his pride left since he did fight for what was really important...

There was only one uncredited character actor - the man who played Sheriff Dobson.
