Quotes

Narrator: The law was a new thing then and Hoby Gilman was all for it. But sometimes the law came pretty high. That day in Lampasas, the law cost him a friend. Hoby would have sworn along with all the others that ol' Doc Rivers couldn't hurt a fly.

Good acting

I thought Fintan Meyler did a great acting job in this episode. Her crying scene was heart-wrenching. I almost thought Hoby was going to start crying just listening to her!

This was a good episode. The story was simple, but I was surprised to learn who had done it. I was expecting it to be one of those brother against brothers episodes. I didn't expect it to be the person it was.

Again, I'm disappointed that someone didn't get credited. I'm actually surprised as well since Lance Connors played a pretty big role in this episode. I wonder why he wasn't credited? Does anybody know who he is?

And why is it that the hero knows how to do everything? Hoby knew exactly how to work the printing press and print that paper...
