Storyline
Troubled teenager Alex Wilson is arrested after breaking into a music store to steal a guitar and killing the store owner, Henry Baldwin, a retired blues artist and his mentor. He is found guilty and sent to the Juvenile Center until the final sentencing and statements. Along with Alex, a group of five other young men are held due to their drug addictions. At first, the guys don't get along with each other, and Alex makes sure the others know their place by boasting about his murder charges. The angels pose as workers in the center, and encourage the guys to find a common ground. They find it when singing Happy Birthday to Alex, and their attitudes toward each other change. At the final trial, with Andrew as his lawyer, Alex is sentenced to 25 years without parole. Back at the center, Monica asks him if they can do anything for him, and he says he wants someone to hear his music.
