We follow the repercussions of a hit-and-run accident and an armed robbery in what could be the weakest edition of A Touch of Frost that is not a favourite of mine as such.

Many of the show's regular characters do not appear in Private Lives, although Peter Egan puts in a cherished performance as a seemingly upset husband struggling to cope with his wife's accident....There is also a rather amusing conclusion to the armed robbery case! Private Lives is not as thrilling to watch when compared to other episodes of A Touch of Frost, but Poirot's Philip Jackson was well appointed as Jack's sidekick D.S. 'Razor' Sharpe, and is easily likable. 6/10.
