Storyline

The comedy segment was a clip from two years prior: a eulogy for a thesaurus writer. Clint Eastwood answered Johnny's questions about the Sergio Leone films, working with an orangutan, Dirty Harry movies, and being Mayor of Carmel, CA. David Letterman talked about Johnny's retirement and achievements, and told how he first met Clint Eastwood when working at a comedy club. He also told a humorous story about his dog eating spoiled meat. Bob Hope mentioned receiving an honorary degree, and showed a clip from his upcoming special. Written by lenab9011
