Storyline

The comedy segment was rejected Christmas TV specials. Vlasta, billed as the "International Queen of Polka" first performed "Roll Out the Barrel" with the band. During the interview she talked about her life: she was known as the Shirley Temple of Czechoslovakia as a child star and her family later emigrated to the US. She also talked about how she wrote songs and her husband gave her feedback. She then performed her composition "The Johnny Carson Polka". Alan King talked about the book he did with Mimi Sheraton about food, and what he called "the pleasures of taste". He said his mother was not a good cook, and his wife (39 years of marriage) didn't cook at all. He also told many jokes about restaurants.
