Storyline

The comedy segment was Karnak the Magnificent. After the segment Johnny and Ed had a lengthy discussion whether some sharks do not need to keep moving to live; when previously discussed Johnny said yes and Ed had thought not, but now Johnny had a letter from oceanographers backing him up. Albert Brooks talked about promoting his film "Modern Romance" and then about the film. This led to a discussion about relationships between men and women as Johnny asked his opinion on various related issues. Brooks kept his answers humorous. A clip from the film was shown. Susan Sarandon said she tries to avoid caring about reviews. Johnny turned the topic back to male-female relationships and she suggested it was good for women to be a mystery to men. She gave a quiz on the topic to Johnny and Albert. Johnny mentioned how Sarandon won the Canadian equivalent of the Oscar. She then told about learning clam shucking and blackjack dealing for the film "Atlantic City". A clip of the film was shown. Written by lenab9011
