Storyline

The comedy segment was items from the La Brea Tar Pits. Bob Hope said it was his 43rd year working for NBC, counting both radio and TV. He talked about his first show and the upcoming one. A clip from the upcoming show was shown. With the upcoming inauguration of Ronald Reagan, Hope talked about his experiences with Presidents, including Reagan. Johnny also showed some photos of Hope when he was very young. Argus Hamilton did stand-up comedy. Johnny then interviewed seven "lovelies" who were joining the cast of "BJ and the Bear". Each answered one or two questions. Judy Landers was the most noteworthy in terms of later career; she listed the names characters she played, showing a distinct stereotype in her casting. Barbara Horan had been Miss Texas (actually Miss Texas USA) and also said she used to dream of marrying Johnny - he reminded her of her father. Written by lenab9011
