Storyline

There was no comedy segment, Johnny and Ed chatted about various topics for several minutes. Richard Harris talked about how he stopped drinking and used acupuncture to reduce his smoking. He told the story of first meeting Bob Hope, whom he idolized. Bob Hope told about meeting the King and Queen of England after a command performance with his fly open. He also discussed his book "The Last Christmas Show" about his tours entertaining the troops during the holidays. He also talked about how he was subject to a bombing (from airplanes) attack during the 1943 tour. A clip of outtakes from his upcoming Christmas special was shown. Steve Landesberg did a stand-up routine. During the interview he talked about the culture shift of living in California. Adrienne Barbeau discussed how she gets her Christmas shopping done early.
