Tom Poston, Mimi Benzell, Johnny Carson and Dina Merrill are this evening's panelists. In the first round, the panel is presented with three women, all of whom claim to be the mother of the celebrated pianist, Van Cliburn, winner of the 1958 International Tchaikovsky Piano Competition in Moscow at the height of the Cold War. Though the three ladies are very convincing, Mr. Poston, Miss Benzell and Mr. Carson correctly identify the real mother of the classic musician. Next up, three gentlemen allege they are Mr. James Ramsey Ullman, author, and mountaineer, slated to join the 1963 expedition climbing Mount Everest. Again, Tom Poston, Mimi Benzell, and Johnny Carson peg the correct author and mountaineer. Finally, the panel is asked to identify the woman who claims to be Margaret Smith, choreographer of the Ringling' Brothers circus. The panel is less fortunate this time out as they are all stumped completely in their attempt to identify the Miss Smith.
