Host Bud Collyer mentions Tom Poston is on the road, starring in 1959 musical, "Destry Rides Again," hence his absence. In the first round, three gentlemen are presented as Mr. Art Briese, a fireworks expert on this July 4 eve. Sam Levenson is the sole panelist to determine the genuine Mr. Briese correctly. The second round brings three boys who claim to be Lee Roy Runnolds, the young and heroic lifesaver of three young ladies from drowning. Johnny Carson, Dina Merrill, and Sam Levenson accurately identify the young man. Bud Collyer notes that Contestant Number 2 is Gil Hodges, Jr., son of the Los Angeles Dodgers first baseman and Brooklyn resident, Gil Hodges. In the final round, three women claim to be Helen Adams, 1961 Teacher of the Year. Dina Merrill and Kitty Carlisle peg the real Helen Adams, who was honored at the White House and President John F.
