- After an evening of reliving "the good-old days", Titus is convinced that his parents would never, and should never get back together again.
- Juanita (Frances Fisher) and Ken got divorced early in life. Titus stayed with Ken but visited her in the hospital from time to time. Juanita Titus comes to visit for a family dinner. Titus had invited everyone for dinner at his place, instead of Ken's. Titus now trusts Juanita and believes that she is cured and is taking her own medications. Ken argues that Juanita takes medications for a month, then stops and tries to kill him.
Ken yells at Titus for letting her out of the mental asylum, but Titus says that Juanita always only tries to kill Ken, so there is no problem for the rest of the gang. Titus wants Ken to leave dinner, but Erin convinces Titus to ask him to stay. Titus says family nights always leads to Juanita trying to kill Ken. Titus asks Ken to stay, but Ken wants Titus to choose between him and Juanita. Ken says that Titus got injured many times during Juanita's attempts to kill Ken. Erin doesn't get the issues between Ken and Juanita as her own parents have been together for 40 happy years. Titus says living with Ken was hell, and he even made Titus give up football. Ken reveals that he wanted Titus to quit the football team in high school since Juanita slept with the coach and Ken got back at her by sleeping with his Greek teacher. They exchange more stories about how they always ignored Titus in the middle of their fights (one time he got left at the airport, overnight. He played all night with the drug sniffing dog). Titus is happy to see Ken getting along with Juanita, laughing and cracking jokes.
That's when Bill (Cliff Bemis) walks in, who is Juanita's fiance. Titus is uncomfortable with Bill and tries to scare him off by telling him his mom's stories from back when she was clinically insane. Erin speaks to Titus and figures that he believes scarring Titus for life meant that Juanita and Ken were close together and still had feelings for each other. Titus wants Bill out of his house, so that Ken and Juanita can be together again.
But Ken doesn't want to get back together with Juanita. And neither does Juanita. Tommy tells Bill that Ken and Juanita broke up and made up 12 times in a row. Bill is a psychological analyst and says that Ken has compensated for Juanita's absence by manipulating and belittling Titus for all his life. Bill says that Titus is a hero for believing in the eternal love between his parents. Bill tells Titus that he could be his family and challenges him to create the family that he yearns for and believes in. Turns out Bill is Juanita's shrink. Bill claims that he has slept with many of his patients in the past, without any complications. Erin is horrified at Bill's confession.
Ken keeps needling Bill and Bill punches Ken in the stomach. Titus throws Bill out of his house. Juanita says she won't stay without Bill, since Ken drove Bill to punch him. Titus asks both to leave.
