Only Alf suddenly turns into a lion boasting that he could had caused a serious injury.
Bert causes further mischief for Alf, switching sandwiches that Alf meant to give with mike. The once covered with mustard and fag ash.
He ends up with some bother with Wally Carey the neighbour once Alf starts to mock the Scots.
The final surprise for Alf is a telegram from Australia. Else wants a divorce.

In 1985 Alf would be back on the BBC with In Sickness and In Health. Else never did divorce him.
