Happy Birthday, Jimmy! (Spoilers)
31 October 2013 | by (victoria b.c canada) – See all my reviews

Jack & Crissy are preparing a surprise birthday bash for their roommate Janet. Stanley Roper has her niece Karen (Christina Hart) staying with them, but he is so concerned about keeping her safe, Karen ends up being bored to tears. Stanley still thinks Jack swings the other way, and asks Jack to hang out with Karen. Jack figures Karen is average looking, because she's a Roper, and turns the offer down. When Jack gets a look at Karen, he changes his mind with immediacy. Janet figures out the surprise party and the girls are left on their own, because Jack fails to show up for Janet's party. This is another hilarious episode. Mr. Roper still hasn't figured out Jack isn't gay yet, and it provides a lot of hilarity. I cracked up whenever Jack would purposely sit close to Mr. Roper, to freak him out. Norman Fell's reactions are hysterical. It also has a classic moment, where Jack makes out with Karen, and Mr. Roper catches them right in the act. Of course, Stanley would be convinced that Karen forced herself onto him, but you can hear the audience roar very loudly. It was also cute to see Janet & Crissy act jealous as well. The ending is very sweet. Jack does something he doesn't do very often, and does a kind deed. It's another great episode, and you don't need my recommendation if you're a huge Three's Company fan

Stanley Roper: Could you excuse us for a minute, please? Crissy: You wanna be left alone?
