One of the funniest moments from the series
13 April 2011 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

This episode deals with Jack Tripper helping an elderly woman and then being overly doted upon by that woman's gratitude by his charitable act. The elderly woman, Gladys, then begins to interfere with his life at the apartment and at work. The episode has one of the funniest lines of this series. In the scene, Jack pretends to be ill to keep Gladys away from him. She still barges into this bedroom trying to help him with his illness. She looks for a thermometer and Jack tells her that he is unable to use the thermometer in his mouth. Gladys then replies that she does not take the temperature in that part of the body. Jack's expression upon hearing that is hilarious. A great punch line.
