Carlos Nieto tells a patient that he and Doc could only take people in their ambulance who have true medical emergencies, and that they wouldn't take her (the patient had the stomach flu). In real life, Paramedics are obligated to transport anyone requesting it, and cannot refuse transport (something Carlos goes on to say in a future episode).
Carlos Nieto tells Doc that he was "a corpsman in the Marines". In actuality, hospital corpsman is a naval occupation. The U.S. Marine Corps has no medics, as all medical services are provided to them by their sister branch, the United States Navy.
In Season 1, Episode 4, Carlos tells Doc that he "Served as a Corpsmen in the Marines for 4 years".
Marines are not Corpsmen, Sailors are Corpsmen. His character would need to serve in the Navy WITH the Marines.
