Ida's bored and needs a reason to stay.
4 January 2016 | by (Swansea, United Kingdom) – See all my reviews

Ida's struggling a little with country life, a little bored, she seems to be missing wayward brother Wilfred and sparring partner Mrs Price as well as the sounds and pace of London. Angie is having coffee with Doctor Sharp's Wife, Robert's at work and Ida's home alone, bored and clashing with Edith, who has a crush on Robert. Ida plans to pack up and go home, but a medical emergency in which she helps with changes her mind.

I like the new feel to the series, it's definitely taken a turn for the better, it's interesting again. I like Edith, her clashing with Ida is funny and her crush on Robert is sweet.

Great to see Duncan Preston, pre the Victoria Wood years, he's always been a brilliant comedy actor.

Sweet episode. 8/10
