The Traffic has become a major concern in the village Little Birchmarch, a bypass is becoming essential, a meeting is planned for all villagers do discuss the benefits. It falls on Ida to meet with head of planning, Mr Jessop, it becomes clear that the feasibility of the bypass just isn't there, he even refuses a sign post to help divert the Traffic. Jessop is soon to be in the area at a Church Service, the villagers need a different plan, they set up a Maypole to block Jessop's route.
Not my favourite episode in truth, it's a bit of a yawn fest, lacking in laughs, definitely more serious in tone, the funniest part had to be all the regulars Morris dancing at the end, that at least brought a chuckle, 6/10
