Storyline
Without telling Donald, Ann joins a women's activist group focused on pollution issues. The reason she didn't tell Donald is because Newsview magazine is on the group's picket list for printing an article written by Donald over a year ago on the issue but doing no follow-up since. A photograph of Ann wearing a gas mask after their Newsview picket ends up being featured in the newspaper, and she hopes that Donald won't figure out it's her. He does, as does Donald's boss, Jonathan Adams. That recognition leads to Ann and Donald arguing about the entire pollution issue, and their own possible hypocritical views. Ann convinces the group's leader not to picket Newsview anymore while Ann works on Mr. Adams directly, which she hopes will lead to, among other things, a follow-up feature. Ann invites Mr. and Mrs. Adams to her apartment under the guise of a surprise birthday party for Donald, at which she plans on serving what is known as an anti-pollution meal. Will Ann's action change either ... Written by
