Ann is enjoying her minor fame in a small but memorable role as Sheila, the bad girl, in a daytime soap opera. She is convinced that people are recognizing her on the street, and Sol, her local delicatessen operator, even wants to put her publicity photo on his establishment wall. However, one person not a fan of Ann's is Donald's mother, Mildred Hollinger, who seems to dislike Ann even before their inaugural meeting. Don later learns that his mother's reaction to Ann is because she watches the show and truly believes that Ann must be like Sheila as no one is that good an actress. What's worse about Ann for Mrs. Hollinger is that Sheila is the antagonist to Mrs. Hollinger's favorite character on the show, Dr. Randall. Ann believes that George, the actor who plays Dr. Randall, putting in a good word for Ann to Mrs. Hollinger will solve all Ann's relationship problems with her. The small dinner party that Ann and Don host for the Hollingers and George doesn't turn out quite the way Ann was hoping, but George's less than proper behavior may still have the desire end effect.- Written by Huggo
