Got to give it props for being the first holiday episode, and I usually always look forward to any holiday episodes in tv, usually the Halloween ones are my favorite, but most of the time I like them all and this one is no exception. Not the best holiday episode, but I quite enjoy it. I'm a huge fan of Laurie RIP Lisa Robin Kelly, I love her and Erics back and fourth especially later on when Eric is way better at insulting his sister and comebacks in general. Jenny Maguire's performance as Kate is great. The main plot is easily the best with Eric making out with her and then telling the gang. Has some hilarious moments, like Eric and his parents picking them up and Topher's delivery is fantastic, "you can sleep in my room" while he's running gets me every time. Everyone on the show is a great physical comedian. Topher is great in this episode with the luggage and falling over. He's great in this episode. Eric imagining Kate in his ketchup. The scene with Eric thinking about of a bunch of different things so he could leave after making out with Kate is another classic scene of the show. A fantastic scene. "Ok... I'm good and goodnight" Eric. Also's Kelsos line perfectly foreshadows the show "Yea man the right to do is juggle them both until it blows up in your face. I enjoy Eric stays in character in this episode by feeling guilty and telling Donna their back and fourth is pretty funny. Come on Red and Erics conversation is iconic. "Son you don't have bad luck, the reason bad things happen to you, is because your a dumbass" You gotta love red. The scene when they realize they forgot mother Forman is hilarious. Kitty is in full throttle kills me every time. Also the b plot i thoroughly enjoy with Bob trying to get Red a job with him and Red being stubborn at first but does end up accepting the job. Also red and Bobs bromance is always wholesome and fun to watch. The scene at the garbage cans is great. The ending is great with Donna forgiving Eric. Then Donnas erotic fantasies at the end is a great way to end it. A great one above average for me.

The only negatives is I guess the plot with Kitty and mother Forman, it's still good but watching kitty get worse and worse cause of Reds mom isn't that funny but has some funny moments. There is no circle which always is a let down but doesn't bring down the episode. Reds mom has always been one of my least favorite happy she was only in season 1. But this is a funny episode all throughout just missing that little bit to make it a classic. Also Eric is a little bit mean spirited but feels instantly guilty and the ending makes up for it and I can't fault him to much he's a teenage horndog.

Thanksgiving (#1.9)

Warning: Spoilers
It is Thanksgiving. Laurie brings home her friend Kate who is very hot. Eric ends up making out with her. He tells it to Donna and she doesn't take it too well. Kitty has trouble with Red's mom. Bob hires Red to work at his store.

The story is pretty fun although doesn't have as many over the top hilarious moments as the ones before. But it is a good story as it leads further into relationship of Eric and Donna who without being officially together are having their first real fight.

Kitty brings the laughter as usual with her issues about Red's mother. Can't wait until we get introduced to her.
