The ghost story that Eric is telling the gang is about Lydia's Bridge in Jamestown, NC. The story goes that Lydia was killed at the bridge by a drunk driver on her prom night some time in the 1950s. She and her date had apparently gotten in a fight and she was left out by the bridge. Men driving alone under the bridge have reported seeing her there and picking her up. She asks for a ride home and they take her there. When they drop her off, she leaves her scarf in the car. The man gets out to bring her her scarf back and when her mother answers the door, the man is informed that her daughter died in a car accident many years ago. This has reportedly happened to many men over the years and has been retold many times, changing the location and the vehicle picking her up.
In this episode they watch the movie "Texas chainsaw massacre" and though that film is inspired by true events, it did not happen in Texas, it actually took place in Wisconsin and that is the state where that "70's show" takes place in also.
In this episode, we find out that Jackie's middle name is Beulah. However, in Eric's Burger Job (Season 1, episode 5), she was wearing a t-shirt with "JSB" on it, which would presumably be her initials.
In Season 1 Episode 4 "Battle of the Sexists" (not Episode 5 "Eric's Burger Job") Jackie is wearing a shirt with the initials JSB but in Season 2 Episode 5 "Halloween", Hyde reveals Jackie's middle name is Beulah.
