- Donna was reluctant to return her bride shoes, and Jackie offers to do it for her since she wants to meet Stacy Wanamaker (Jenna Fischer), the queen of Bridal conventions.
At the shoe shop Jackie, who has a bad row with Hyde, presents herself as bride Donna. Jackie panics when Stacey tells Jackie that her window to find a mate is very small. Stacey says that she has seen many girls who have wasted several years on a guy who never came through with a marriage proposal. Stacey says that before she knows it, Jackie will be past her expiration date. Jackie cannot deal with pity and refuses to be a victim. Jackie claims that she traded up and introduces Fez as her fiance, Eduardo, prince of Mexico.
Stacy invites Jackie to a Bridal expo, where Fez is planted with the other superfluous grooms. Jackie is treated like a Queen, with a sash, a tiara and a glass of Champagne, as she makes choices about her upcoming wedding to Eduardo.
Kelso rubs in with Hyde he and Angie are all over each-other, and their pact protects him against reprisals. When Hyde snaked Jackie from Kelso, they made a pact not to interfere with each other's pursuit of a girl. Eric also wants a pact and is promised one by Hyde 'after' Eric helps Hyde by getting Angie to break up with Kelso. Hyde only offers a stater pact to Eric and will promote him to a grown-up fact, after he delivers with Angie.
Eric makes the family tell Angie anecdotes about Michael's craziest stunts, like gluing himself to the fridge, inventing 'car skiing', one where he burned himself underwater, firecrackers in the blender, and so on. Angie believes that the whole thing is orchestrated by Kelso. Angie dumps the innocent boy. Kelso's miserable reaction touches even Hyde (he thinks like he kicked a puppy), who asks Angie to take him back. Angie tells Hyde that she broke up with Kelso because it was bothering him (and not cause of the stories). Angie says that they have a business to run, and she wants Hyde focused. But by then she had already had sex with Kelso. On Hyde's desk.
Jackie got an invitation (from Stacy) to a real wedding and makes Fez go under their aliases. Jackie admits to Fez that it feels wonderful to her to pretend to be engaged. Fez begs her to reconsider, but Jackie really wants to attend the wedding. Jackie is worried that with Hyde she may never get a real wedding, real happiness or a real anything. She does not want to live in her pink bedroom, alone, forever. The Forman are guests and Jackie gets found out as a fraud who is not even engaged, in front of Stacy. Jackie meets Hyde in the basement. All she wants is a hint from Hyde if they will ever get married in the future. Hyde won't commit and says that Jackie should be happy with what she has. Jackie says that she is not happy & she walks away from Hyde. She says that she won't waste any more of time on him, if this is not going to happen for them.
