A new team

Switching focus from the Titans to just Cyborg was a fantastic idea. We get introduced to new heroes like M&M, and see familiar faces like Bee, Harper, and Garth. It's also become apparent that Brother Blood and Cyborg are the real focus of this season. Once again, because Slade's gone, it's nice for the writers to give Blood more of a character. Slade was great from an evil perspective, but Blood is great from almost every perspective. He's skilled, evil, smart, but he has more of a personality. He can be entertaining as well as sadistic, which is refreshing. And the cliffhanger from this part is great, I know Cy's gonna join back up with Dick and the others, but it'll be interesting to see how he can get out of this. New focus on characters, great humor, awesome action, and a great cliffhanger, you can't get much better than that. Fingers crossed that the second part doesn't poop the bed like "Aftershock" did.
