Goofs

The graduates are shown standing in front of a flag/banner with the initials H.A.E.Y.P. which should be pronounced the same as the word "hype". However, the headmistress of the academy pronounces the acronym "hive"' and, in the closed captioning, the acronym is spelled 'hive'. The decision to change the acronym of the academy must have occurred too late in the production of the episode to allow the background images with the acronym H.A.E.Y.P. to be updated. See more »

I'm back, baby

Welcome back! Much like the Bat-a-thon from earlier this year, it's time once again for me to delve into another animated TV show from my childhood, but this time, on a smaller scale. I won't be marathoning this series, but I will watch all of it. Instead of 5 episodes a day, there's gonna be 5 a week, no more, no less. I'll still be covering movies and PPVs as usual, but this'll be a little side project of sorts. With that being said, let's get to the episode.

It's a safe start to a show, we get to see all the Titans, and what their abilities are. On top if that, we also get to know their personalities which I'm sure will be more developed in future episodes. They didn't have much to go off of as far as a TV show was concerned, so they decided to keep it simple, and I can respect that for starters.
