Bobby goes as Louie to the class reunion.
21 July 2008 | by (Houston, Tx, USA, Earth) – See all my reviews

I am a big fan of the old "Taxi" series and am currently re-watching all episodes on DVD.

Danny DeVito as little, mean Louie De Palma has an opportunity to attend his class reunion, but he was an outcast in high school. As he explains to the others, the other kids would line up and take turns beating on him. But he dearly wanted to get some sort of revenge.

Jeff Conaway as actor Bobby Wheeler, tall, blond, and handsome, tells Louie that he will go as Louie De Palma. He will explain that in college he grew taller, and through that ruse would get revenge for Louie. At first Louie is totally against it, no one can play him. But after a few examples from Bobbie, the plan was on.

Watching the episode again after all these years, it is pretty amazing what good makeup will do. Bobbie went to the party and was accepted by his old classmates as De Palma. Louie even showed up at the end to get the joy of seeing the results.
