I'm not certain if the writers of this great show were running out of ideas, but even though this episode had good writing, the comedic aspect falls flat. You may notice a familiar face in Mark Blankfield, who portrays Simka's cousin Zifka; he happens to be a monk who's allowed to have a week of freedom to do what he wants for a week for every 10 years. Leave it to easy Elaine to appease his desires, and we're forced to sit through a painful dance sequence the 2 have in the garage, when they sing to each other. I consider Alex my favorite character, but other than him telling Elaine that she should tread lightly with Zifka, he comes up real small for the rest of the episode, and seems to go through the motions without much of consequence to add along the way. Louie and Jim uttered a few funny lines, but the rest of this episode was very boring, and a bit cheesy, and I would recommend you let this taxi pick up somebody else.
