British actress Naomie Harris has been nominated for an Oscar for her role as a crack-addicted mother in the 2016 indie drama Moonlight. "No Small Parts" takes a look at some other roles she's played in her career.
I am so excited to have begun to watch this tremendous TV series from the early sixties. This was an era where there were legions of films about underworld, crime syndicates and mafia: PORTRAIT OF A MOBSTER, RISE AND FALL OF LEGS DIAMOND, MURDER INC, BACK HAND, PAY OR DIE, PURPLE GANG, MAD DOG CALL...This TV show is in this line. Exposes shown in the toughest way possible, fierce, brutal. This story takes place on piers, docks where, as everywhere in the world, gigantic shipments of all kinds of merchandises pass through. And that means mammoth amount of money, including smuggling, black mailling, corruption. Billions of dollars meaning underworld and crime organizations. Nothing really new here, but if you crave for this kind of stories and atmospheres, don't miss it. Quality of those viewings is very good and the directing as well as the acting is powerful. Stephen Mc Nally, Jack Klugman, Vic Morrow, Victor Buono are there at their peak here. I'll probably comment other épisodes from this series.
